- Measure the length plus 2 cm allowance and mark it with chalk.
- Separate the coil 1 cm at the start and thread on the slider with the pull facing up.
- Pull the slider all the way up once so both sides engage.
- At the end remove a few teeth or bar-tack across.
- Set the top stops – done.
Our tip: with metal, nip the teeth off with pliers rather than cutting them.
